Christmas is just around the corner already. I know that it can be a happy time to spend together with friends and family, but there are also many people who face a difficult time at Christmas.

I am always struck by the dedication and kindness of those within our community who do their utmost to help those in need. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them all and also to wish Echo readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
