On 30th July, Nexus announced a public consultation on the future of Tyne and Wear’s bus network. It’s asking stakeholders and local people for their views on a proposed Quality Contract Scheme, a London-style form of transport regulation which campaigners have worked hard towards for three years. This consultation gives you the opportunity to have your say on their plans, which could radically change the way our bus network operates.
