Your new MP, Bridget Phillipson’s first thought after you elected her was to say ‘Thank You’.

Speaking after the result, Bridget said:

“It’s hard for me to put into words how this feels. The community that I grew up in has put their faith in me to represent them in Parliament and I will be forever grateful for that.”

“It’s very humbling to see their hopes, wishes and prayers marked on the ballot papers of my neighbours. This victory isn’t about any individual but about the future of our community. I now want to work alongside you as we fight to ensure that the future of our area is secured.”
