Bridget Phillipson Labour Member of Parliament for Houghton and Sunderland South
With polling day on May 7th just around the corner, Labour parliamentary candidate for Houghton and Sunderland South Bridget Phillipson’s campaign for re-election has completed a successful fourth week.
This week postal voting packs started to arrive on doorsteps across the constituency. This was a critical moment in Labour’s campaign to win the General Election and start building a fairer Britain, as studies have shown that postal voters are more likely to vote than non-postal voters.
In order to ensure postal voters use their vote at this election, Bridget has been engaged in a ‘Get Out the Vote’ constituency blitz that has seen her speak to residents across the constituency last week.
