It was an honour to lay a wreath on the morning of 11 November as part of the Remembrance Service at Silksworth. It was wonderful to see such a large turnout, including many children and young people.

This year’s Remembrance Sunday marks one hundred years since the end of World War One, and it is always a significant day for our community to come together and remember the sacrifice of all of our servicemen and women. My thoughts are also with the families and loved ones of those currently serving our nation.
