On Wednesday 19 December, I attended an event hosted by Guide Dogs in Parliament, and learnt about the ongoing discrimination faced by blind and partially sighted people.

It’s against the law for someone to be refused service because of their guide dog, yet over three quarters of guide dog owners have experienced this.

This unfair treatment is unacceptable, and I support efforts to better enforce the law and improve training for service providers, in order to end such discrimination.
