This morning I met with members of Headway Wearside and their carers to discuss the UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum’s recently published report ‘Time for Change’, which highlights key recommendations regarding Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Neurorehabilitation.

Recent advances in emergency and acute medicine mean that more people now survive with an ABI, but many individuals require early and continued access to neurorehabilitation to optimise their recovery.
