This morning I had the pleasure of meeting some of our community’s hardworking posties while visiting Royal Mail’s delivery office in Houghton-le-Spring.

The recent bad weather across the North East, especially on days like today, serves to remind us all of the vital work that our posties do in all sorts of challenging working conditions and weather. I want to thank all of them for showing me around and for their continued hard work.
