Bridget Phillipson Labour Member of Parliament for Houghton and Sunderland South
This morning I popped into a workshop on the funding opportunities offered by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) supported by Cllr Claire Rowntree.
The CRT are an organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life in Britain’s former mining communities. So many in our area still feel the effects of deindustrialisation, and the CRT provide vital funding for projects designed to improve health, employment and skills.
Voluntary and community groups and organisations can apply for support and funding by contacting the CRT on 01226 270800, or taking a look on their website here: www.coalfields-regen.org.uk
