Local residents may be aware of plans to make changes to local bus services, and a number of constituents have been in touch with concerns especially regarding the number 36 service.
I believe that local people deserve a bus service that meets their needs, and residents of Oakfield Close together with Gillian Galbraith recently organised a petition in the hope of persuading Go North East to think again.
Go North East have stated these changes are required in response to changing travel patterns and low passenger numbers.
