No one in our society should be forced to sleep rough on the streets, yet the government’s own statistics indicate that rough sleeping has increased by a shocking 165% since Labour left office in 2010.
The Tories’ abject failure to tackle rough sleeping is simply unacceptable, and I’ll continue to challenge ministers to do more to end all forms of homelessness.
