Bridget Phillipson Labour Member of Parliament for Houghton and Sunderland South
I was delighted to take part in the ‘Be Internet Legends’ assembly at Newbottle Primary Academy last week.
Launched by Google and family internet safety experts ParentZone, Be Internet Legends is a free educational programme for UK primary schools. The assemblies equip 7-11-year olds with the key skills they need to stay safe online, in an interactive and enjoyable way. In the growing digital age, it’s essential that children are aware of internet safety from a young age.
All primary schools can order free resources here:https://parentzone.org.uk/be-internet-legends
