This afternoon I spent some time with The Royal British Legion volunteers who were fundraising at Sainsbury’s on Silksworth Lane.

The RBL do a wonderful job supporting our military personnel, veterans and their families, and the work of amazing volunteers helps to promote their cause at this important time of year in the weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday.

I’d also like to thank Sainsbury’s for their long-standing support for our local Poppy Appeal Collectors, and for helping to organise my visit.
