Bridget Phillipson Labour Member of Parliament for Houghton and Sunderland South

A massive thank you to everybody who took part in my online community meet-up via Zoom on anti-social behaviour last night.
It was great to be joined by Kim McGuinness- Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner, and crucially important to hear your concerns about anti-social behaviour in our area.
We covered many topics: from fly tipping, speeding and dog fouling, to community policing and community watch teams, to the impact of COVID-19 on our area, amongst many other topics. I’ll be taking up the individual cases and local issues raised.
Kim is launching a consultation on the Police and Crime Plan for our region. This survey will ask you about fighting crime, preventing crime and improving lives. Please complete the below and be heard:
If you would like to raise a concern about anti-social behaviour, please email me or contact my office.
I’ll be organising another online event soon, so please look out and sign up in the coming weeks. I hope those who participated this time found it as helpful as I did.
