Today at Treasury Questions, I pressed the Chancellor on the failing test, trace and isolate system and why his new employment support schemes are failing to do “whatever it takes“ as he promised in March.

The Government’s economic support is fading away and drops off next week, and with the latest data for Test and Trace showing it is still not reaching far too many contacts of those who test positive, even the Chancellor knows that the government’s failed test trace and isolate system is holding our economy back.

They need to get a grip. Lives and livelihoods depend on it. Watch my questions to the Chancellor below:
