Bridget Phillipson MP meets with frontline workers from the North East Ambulance Service

Today I met with Harriet and Andrew from the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) and had the opportunity to thank them for the outstanding work that they do. The last year has been immensely challenging and we are all extremely grateful for the hard work and professionalism of our Ambulance Service.

Harriet is a senior health advisor and on the frontline of the service. Andrew is a paramedic and was the victim of a serious assault last year on a call out. The experience hasn’t deterred him from wanting to help those that need it most.

I support the NEAS’s #MoreThanAUniform campaign. Our key workers deserve to be respected and supported as they go about their vital work.
