There’s lots of fantastic work going on at HettonNewDawn.

Today, I popped into their Friday Welcome Cafe, which provides meals and a place to make and meet friends. The cafe is open without charge to the whole community, but welcomes donations from those who are able to do so.

Members of Hetton New Dawn have been nominated to Sunderland Shining Stars award for their outstanding contribution to the community. I want to congratulate the team on this well-deserved achievement.
