It was a pleasure to meet Guide Dogs UK at conference this year and learn about all the hard work they do to support people with sight loss across our country.

We spoke about how dangerously driven e-scooters and pavement parking are problematic for people with sight loss, and what MPs can do to encourage the responsible driving of e-scooters so as to help those with sight loss to go about their day safely.

I know this is an important charity for my constituents. I’m always delighted to speak with them and, of course, meet their amazing guide dogs!
