MPs have worked together across party-lines to highlight the monumental errors made by the Government in responding to the pandemic.

Ministers ignored warnings, responded with complacency and were consistently too slow to act.

Failing to protect those in care homes, failing to protect our borders, failing to effectively implement test and trace. This is a damning report.

We need a public inquiry now so mistakes of such tragic magnitude are never repeated again.
