Bridget Phillipson MP to host community event on anti-social behaviour and crime
Bridget Phillipson MP to host community event on anti-social behaviour and crime

My focus will always be on ensuring that our streets are safe; to drive down crime and anti-social behaviour; to tackle the root causes of the problems that face communities such as ours; and of course, ensure those responsible are brought to justice.

Labour’s new plans to restore neighbourhood policing would tackle the epidemic of anti-social behaviour currently blighting communities across the country, with increased visible policing including more eyes, ears and boots on the ground.

Everyone has the right to feel safe in their local community and I am determined to make sure residents’ voices are heard.

That’s why I have organised the following event, to discuss anti-social behaviour and crime:

  • What: Anti-Social Behaviour Meeting, with Bridget Phillipson MP, Kim McGuinness, Police and Crime Commissioner for Northumbria, and Shiney Row councillors
  • Where: Penshaw Community Centre, Wensleydale Avenue, DH4 7PD
  • When: Friday, 3rd December, 5-6pm

Please join us to learn about ongoing work in this area, and to share your thoughts on how we can tackle this issue in our community.

I hope to see you on the 3rd December.
