I recently met with Clare Williams, Unison’s Northern Regional Secretary, to hear about their members’ experiences in schools and colleges at the moment.

Unison represent many workers right across education. I’m proud that Labour’s plans for education both support school staff and ensure our children get the start in life that they deserve.

I look forward to working with Unison to build the Labour government that will provide security and prosperity for working people, as well as the next generation.
