The ‘wild play’ area at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve is a much-loved asset to the local community that provides children with the opportunity to connect with nature and stay active.
Sadly, the wooden frame has now been deemed unsafe and needs to be replaced, and the play area has had to close. The reserve is free for everyone and is relying on donations from supporters to ensure that the facility can reopen for younger visitors.
I know that times are tough at the moment, but those who feel that they are in a position to help can donate here.
