It was great to meet so many EDF staff at Doxford and I’m grateful to everyone who made time to meet me.

The work EDF staff are doing at the moment is so difficult when so many people across our country are facing a cost of living crisis and struggling to pay the bills, and I was really struck by how seriously they take the work they do and the compassion they have for the people with whom they’re so often speaking.

It brought home so powerfully not just what families are going through across the country but how a crisis for any of us is a crisis for all of us.
