I’ve written to LNER to express my disappointment with their decision to withdraw their Sunderland service.

I’ll be meeting with LNER in the coming days, alongside other Sunderland MPs, to urge them to reconsider this short-sighted change.

I will keep fighting for the public transport system our area deserves.
