I’ve been out in Silksworth today, chatting with residents about what matters to you. As your local voice on the national stage, I’m enjoying being out and about in our community while Parliament isn’t sitting.
It’s always great to hear lots of enthusiasm for Labour’s Plan for Change. Already we have secured 150 new officers for Northumbria Police, opened new, free breakfast clubs in two local schools and secured £1.85 billion to upgrade our region’s transport system.
I know there is more to do – I will keep working hard to deliver for our community.
If you have an issue to raise with me, local or national, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – you can email me at bridget.phillipson.mp@parliament.uk or call the office on 0191 584 4317.
