Following the death of her partner, Richie Jordan, Carol King has campaigned tirelessly to ensure other families don’t experience what she and her children have been through.
I am proud to have worked alongside Carol for years and was really pleased with the positive meeting Carol and I had with the Transport Secretary, Heidi Alexander MP, in which we pressed the need for action on this at the earliest opportunity.
I look forward to the Road Safety Strategy in the coming months and I am so glad that Carol had the chance to set out her case for change.
