I recently caught up with Joanne from Youth Almighty Project and Claire at The Old Rectory in Houghton to hear about the many social and wellbeing activities they host – from Bingo Breakfast, to crafts, and yoga. Check the comments to view this week’s schedule.

Joanne also told me about Youth Almighty’s latest work with young people including their Positive Pathway initiative – a scheme offering tailored support to 18 to 25-year-olds who are not in employment, education or training, career advice and routes into real job opportunities.

This is a great example of the kind of tailored, youth-focused support that aligns with the Labour government’s push to tackle youth unemployment and skills gaps
