Bridget Phillipson Labour Member of Parliament for Houghton and Sunderland South

This morning I held my latest Coffee Morning at Grindon Community Church Project. It was great to be joined by over 30 local residents, who were able to ask questions about the work our local policing team are doing to cut down on crime and anti-social behaviour in our community.
We were also joined by PC Armstrong and PC Grainger from Northumbria Police, who outlined a range of ongoing operations in our area, including on anti-social behaviour and off-road biking. It is clear that despite the significant pressure on our police force due to increased crime and a diminished workforce, officers are doing their best to take action.
I hold community meetups for constituents throughout the year, where you can meet with me and your local policing team, to discuss the issues affecting our community as well as my work in Parliament. If you would like to attend a future event, please email me at: bridget.phillipson.mp@parliament.uk
