Vote_Labour.jpegWith polling day on May 7th just around the corner, Labour parliamentary candidate for Houghton and Sunderland South Bridget Phillipson’s campaign for re-election has completed a successful fourth week.

This week postal voting packs started to arrive on doorsteps across the constituency. This was a critical moment in Labour’s campaign to win the General Election and start building a fairer Britain, as studies have shown that postal voters are more likely to vote than non-postal voters.

In order to ensure postal voters use their vote at this election, Bridget has been engaged in a ‘Get Out the Vote’ constituency blitz that has seen her speak to residents across the constituency last week.
